Aspira University College Computer Engineering Students did academic field work at Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. in Split on Tuesday, April 24 2018.
The field work entailed:
- a welcoming tour of Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d.
- a lecture on IoT (Internet Of Things) and the digital transformation of society and the economy
- introduction to 5G technology as the basis of a networked society (IoT)
- lecture on the Ericsson CUDB (Centralized User Database) system
The students who took part in the field trip witnessed the development process of telecommunications projects and products in which the company is participating together with some of the world’s largest telecom operators.
Aspira University College degree program head concluded the visit by thanking the employees of Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. on their superb hosting of the field trip and expressed hope for future collaboration.
